- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required per compliance notes; 2 years listed in job requirements. First-timers not accepted. 2. Cases: High Risk Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, vaginal deliveries, C-sections (circulate and scrub), fetal heart monitoring, high risk pregnancy monitoring, PP couplet care, newborn role at delivery, PACU, emergency D&C, emergent hysterectomy. 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN Advanced required; NCC EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced. ACLS/BLS must be AHA certified. LA fire card within the last 30 days required (not reimbursed). 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted. Must disclose any license hits upfront. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Epic required. 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required. Every other weekend required. Will float to postpartum if needed. All travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Block schedule per manager discretion. Facility may call off once per two-week pay period. 8. RTO: RTO must be included at time of submission. Maximum 7 days (Aya and client offer). Anything over 7 days requires client approval. Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months. Must disclose if previously worked at any Providence facility as permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per diem, including location and dates. 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate. Can only submit to one Providence facility at a time. 11. Background: Must disclose all license and background hits upfront at time of submission. No open license hits will be approved. 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 16 hours. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. Completed pre-start and annually. Time is self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts. 13. Travel Experience: Required. 14. Scrubs: RNs wear Navy Blue; L&D/OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided by facility. 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown. 16. Special Equipment: Must be able to work in an OR suite during C-sections (standard equipment). Critical: SSN and DOB required. 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required during compliance process prior to start; Charge RNs and Leads accepted as references. Patient privacy is extremely important as facility serves celebrities.
