- Unit Notes:Clinical Interview+ Send to manager for offer PASS/FAIL TEST ON STERILE TECHNIQUE FOR FOLEY CATHETERS INSERTION AND CENTRAL LINE DRESSING CHANGES IS REQUIRED ON FIRST DAY OF ORIENTATION Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Unit L&D # of L&D Beds 16 LDRPs # of OR Suites 2 OB ORs # of triage beds 6 triage rooms # of Postpartum beds NA - we have LDRPs # of births per day, per year 1000 Do ratios follow AWHONN guidelines? Yes Required Certifications BLS, Current EFM certification - prefer AWHONN but will accept others Common diagnoses/Types of patients level II maternity (down to 32 weeks GA) Experience or 'Must have' skills EFM interpretation, SVEs, IV starts, manage Magnesium Sulfate Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Pitocin Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes and Yes Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Yes, OB Techs and front desk scheduler OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? on call 24/7, here most of the time RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Cpap, will start vent and transport out Is there tele on this unit?
