- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required - HARD STOP; no first time travelers; minimum 1 year required; experience in large hospital settings highly preferred 2. Cases: Labor, preterm labor, hypertension, multiples, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, fetal anomalies, IUFD, pyleo, diabetes; very high-risk unit 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred; can accept NCC EFM Cert in place of Intermediate AWHONN; LA fire card within last 30 days required 4. License: CA license must be in hand; no pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Day 07:00-19:30; weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs; patient ratios 1 or 2; facility can call off once per pay period 8. RTO: All RTO at time of submittal; must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); 7 days offer period 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must include response about previous Providence facility employment 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval 13. Travel Experience: Required; all travelers expected to float between facilities within state 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue for RNs; L&D scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Must be able to circulate and perform sterile vaginal exams Critical: 2 references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. 72 orientation hours.
