- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1.5 years hard stop; 2 years required; under 2 years may be considered depending on experience 2. Cases: Labor and delivery including labor, induction, preeclampsia, TOLAC, VBAC, multiples, preterm labor, antepartum, high-risk antepartum; sterile vaginal exams and triage are hard stop requirements; must perform independently without supervision 3. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (hard stop — must have for PASS designation), BLS, NRP; LA fire card within last 30 days required (not reimbursed) 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand at time of submission; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; charting system listed as Meditech in facility highlights 7. Shifts/Call: Must be open to working weekends — every other, may exceed to meet unit need; scheduling preferences considered but not guaranteed; scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered; no on-call required; may float to mother baby and between all Providence facilities within the state 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; maximum 7 days (anything more requires client approval); must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose if previously worked at a Providence facility as permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per-diem, including location and dates 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm; can only submit to one Providence facility at a time 11. Background: Must disclose any license or background hits up front at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved; SSN and DOB required 12.
