- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent L&D experience required; no first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: High and low risk L&D patients including magnesium drips, insulin drips, PCA pumps, inductions, spontaneous labor, epidural management, post-birth care, newborn recovery; OR procedures including vaginal deliveries of high risk neonates, circulating cesareans, D&C, D&E, cerclage, versions, PACU/Recovery; hemorrhage management including Jada, Bakri, and blood transfusions; High Risk Perinatal Unit includes antepartum (PPROM, previas) and high risk postpartum with couplet care; 350-450 deliveries/month 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM noted in skills list 4. License: NC or Compact license required and must be in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; Obix for fetal monitoring also listed 7. Shifts/Call: No blocked scheduling; must have open availability; every other weekend required; float between High Risk and L&D; self-scheduling; patient ratios 2:1 days, nights, and weekends; 36 orientation hours; bi-weekly orientations 8. RTO: No blocked scheduling; open availability required; two pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
