- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of L&D experience required; 1 or more travel contracts preferred 2. Cases: Cervical exams, IUPC and FSE placement, vaginal deliveries, IV starts with lab draws, circulating and recovering cesarean sections (spinal and general anesthesia) 3. Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring required 4. License: Tennessee RN License (implied by facility location in Chattanooga, TN) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech and Centricity 7. Shifts/Call: 3 shifts per week; if working during winter holidays, must work 1-2 days or evenings 8. RTO: If working during winter holidays, must work 1-2 days or evenings 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Unit has OB tech always in staffing for scrubbing C-sections and assisting with vaginal deliveries, 1 dedicated charge nurse, and 1 unit secretary from 0700-2300.
