- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; 3 years preferred. Must have experience in a high-volume setting with more than 300 births per month. 2. Cases: Obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater for intrapartum, high-risk antepartum, and postpartum care. Includes Cesarean births, cervical cerclage, triage, antenatal fetal surveillance, IV hydration, and medication administration. Double labor assignments are a daily occurrence. 3. Certifications: BCLS/BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and NRP required. C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN certifications. 4. License: Not explicitly stated. 5. Education: Not specified. 6.
