Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: One year of labor experience required (or completed extended orientation up to one year meeting all expectations) 2. Cases: Triage, Antepartum, Labor, Postpartum, Neonatal care; must be comfortable stabilizing babies; stabilization for transport of sick neonates 3. Certifications: BLS required upon hire and ongoing; NRP within 6 months of hire and ongoing; Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 6 months of hire and ongoing; Gnosis annual assessment of EFM principles within 3 months of hire and ongoing; BFHI Lactation Education required or within 6 months of hire; STABLE preferred; Fetal monitoring cert must have at submission 4. License: Current California State RN License required 5. Education: Graduate of School of Nursing required; BSN/BA preferred 6. EMR: Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Intranet required; ability to learn computer software programs applicable to patient care; specific EMR not listed 7.
