- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; must have full labor and delivery experience and postpartum 2. Cases: High-risk unit; patient population includes healthy to acutely ill childbearing women including high-risk cases, fetuses, and neonates; conditions include hypertensive disorders, placenta previa, abruption, accreta, uterine rupture, precipitous birth, uterine atony, retained placenta, coagulopathies, infections, cardiac disease, obesity, substance use, psychiatric conditions, and diabetes 3. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP required; copies of all certs must be sent at time of submission 4. License: Pending license not accepted; map directions from permanent address (address on license) to facility required at time of submission 5. Education: Area of study, city and state of institution, and type of degree required for all degrees earned; 7 years of work history required (8/2015-present) 6. EMR: Epic strongly preferred, especially for RNs; willing to consider no Epic experience in difficult-to-fill positions; charting system experience listed as required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12, 1900-0730; no on-call required; minimum of every other weekend or 8 weekend shifts per contract; will float within scope — CPO sitter in house and float to northern campus (Madras) low-risk family birthing unit; HARD STOP: required to work all areas including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Well Baby, Transitions, Antenatal, and Circulate in OR; staff to AWHONN Staffing Standards; staffs with break RNs and Resource RNs; orientation hours: 36 8. RTO: 7-day RTO restriction; any candidate who cancels assignment with less than 14 days notice will be entered as a system DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
