- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required 2. Cases: OB, Mother/Baby, and L&D required; antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery, and couplet care; will work all areas of LDRP 3. Certifications: Required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM; Preferred: AWHONN Advanced; all must be AHA 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; will float to house as sitter when needed; will float to Bronson Methodist Kalamazoo (27 miles) when need exists and census allows; Call: None; up to 13 weekend shifts per contract; 24 orientation hours 8. Required skills include Circulate and FHM Triage; Scrub preferred. Unit is a 15-bed LDRP with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms. Nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns.
