- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required (will accept 2 years if experience is solid) 2. Cases: Scrub experience required; required to scrub as backup as needed 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP, C-EFM through NCC, and STABLE required with submittal; ACLS preferred 4. License: DC license in hand required for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-hour shifts (18:50-07:20); call required - 2 shifts per 6-week schedule; every other weekend required 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Must be separated from previous MedStar employment for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11.
