- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission; first-time travelers accepted; MUST have experience in a large L&D unit/large facility 2. Cases: Cerclage, version, C/S, PPTL, external and internal monitoring, AROM, medically assisted deliveries, C-hyst, neonatal palliative care, Nitrous, massive transfusion protocol, malignant hyperthermia; MUST HAVE 3s/4s in postpartum, baby nurse, meconium deliveries 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; NRP must be in hand at submission; no RQI certifications; AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate listed 4. License: NM license can pend at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour contracts available; 4x12s: 12 hours on-call over 4 weeks; 3x12s: 24 hours on-call over 4 weeks; OT after 48 hours on all contracts signed on or after 10/30/2025; float to antepartum and postpartum required; circulate and FHM skills required; block schedule not guaranteed; new contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks 8. RTO: Greater than 7 days needs approval; only one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: 6-month break required for travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached their one-year mark, whichever comes first 10. Travel/Local: No locals within 100 miles 11.
