- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-time travelers not accepted; Trauma Level II experience preferred 2. Cases: Stroke thrombectomy experience required (hard stop); IR RN; skills include interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and more 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required 4. License: GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required (hard stop); Pyxis and SBAR also listed 7. Shifts/Call: Call is rotated among the team; every third weekend, no more than 2 per month; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed; holiday work expectations apply based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period 8. RTO: Max 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests post-offer or onsite; if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
