- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum RN experience required; Interventional Radiology experience required (first-time travelers accepted with IR experience) 2. Cases: Angiogram, Fistulogram, Permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, Mechanical Thrombectomy, Embolization; Patient diagnoses include CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, Stenosis, AAA, Stroke, Aneurysm 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; must be through American Heart Association (AHA); PALS required if applicable to unit; copies must be listed on application at time of submittal 4. License: WV or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission but must be active to start; Nursys pulled within 2 days of submission date; clean license required; hits submitted on case-by-case basis 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10hr shifts, 0730-1800 weekdays; on-call every 5th weekend; 2-hour callback minimum; call averages 5 days/month; will not accommodate blocked schedules; may float to CAMC General Lab CDL 8. RTO: No restrictions, but must be included on profile at time of submittal; up to two pre-approved time off requests 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler; current Vandalia Health System employees (perm, PRN, etc.) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system (includes CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) 10. Travel/Local: Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-99 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable; average completion time 2-6 hours; completed prior to start date; requirements vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers allowed but must have Interventional Radiology experience 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue/White for RN 15. Flu Vaccine: Required; medical exemptions only (allergy documented by allergist or physician); flu season October 1 through March 31; not required outside that window; do not submit anyone who refuses without medical proof 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Full file due by noon Monday prior to start date; insufficient documentation results in a 2-week start date push. Orientation held every other Thursday. Submission must include candidate profile, specialty-specific skills checklist, minimum 2 manager/charge references within past 2 years, RN license verification, driver's license, and SSN.
