- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of experience required 2. Cases: ICU stepdown patients including post rapid response team patients, respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, withdrawal, GI bleeds, post-op (GYN, GU, GI, thoracotomies, neuro, ortho surgeries), pre/post OB with complications; patient ages from adolescent, adult, geriatric 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), and NIH/NIHSS certifications required; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; Pyxis also used on unit 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights; 36 or 48 hours can be offered; no block scheduling; every other weekend required; floating required as needed to sister ICCU unit; no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days for Aya Auto Offer; RTO after booking is NOT allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancel and DNR; one pre-approved time off per contract 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies 11. Background: Not specified 12. Only one pressor drip per patient; additional titratable drips may warrant ICU transfer. Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
