- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have 2 years of experience in the field of specialty 2. Cases: CVICU experience required; adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular and other surgical conditions requiring critical care 3. Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross and AHA NIH required; AHA PALS preferred if working in pediatric unit 4. License: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license required (No Temp Licenses accepted); NURSYS required 5. Education: Associated degree in nursing required 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: Holidays as required; every other weekend; 36 or 48 hours per week accepted 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11.
