- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Medical and oncology ICU patients with adult respiratory distress syndrome, multi system organ failure, septic shock, GI bleeding, complicated pregnancy, oncology, renal failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; strongly prefers medical ICU background 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 DNV, 1:2 ratios, weekend requirement, expect 4 weekend shifts/month, call not applicable 8. RTO: Minimal, cannot accommodate during first 2 weeks; 7 days in Nov/Dec, can be over 1 holiday, must work 2 of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18 months separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; floating within hospital required, no floating to sister hospitals 11. Background: Must disclose any hits when submitted 12. Modules: 5-6 hours for RN, non-billable, completed pre-start; additional 6 hours if WA suicide prevention training required 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first time travelers but strongly prefers previous travel experience 14. Scrubs: Any color; scrubs provided for OR personnel 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Ventilator management, CVVHD/CRRT Critical: Two references required at submittal (prefer both supervisory). Submit 3 jobs maximum. Compliance deadline 3 business days prior to start. Low census may result in call-offs in 4-hour increments up to 1 shift per 2-week cycle.
