Experience: Minimum 4 years recent ICU experience required; ECMO experience within the last 6 months to 1 year required; minimum 2.5 years of recent adult medical/surgical critical care RN experience also noted 2. Cases: HARD STOP — all travelers must have experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheter; strongly preferred: VA ECMO, VV ECMO, V-PA ECMO, CRRT (NxStage), IABP (Teleflex), heart/lung transplant recovery, bridge to transplant, cardiothoracic surgery recovery, heart failure/cardiogenic shock, prostacyclin therapies, pulmonary artery catheters; highly desirable: academic medical center experience, simultaneous management of multiple support devices 3. Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS noted; all must be AHA 4. License: CA RN License required 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts; 36-hour work week (3x12s); schedule based on operational need; shifts run 7:00-19:30 and 19:00-7:30; float required to all UCSF campuses, TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU 8.
