- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2-3 years or more of ICU experience required 2. Cases: MICU and MSICU background preferred; procedures include chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, art lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, dressing changes; IABP and CRRT exposure preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification required; must be in hand (AHA requirement not specified) 4. License: Active TX RN License required; temp licenses will NOT be accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech; experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A; every other weekend; no call requirements; 36 guaranteed hours; clock-in by 6:38 AM/PM (tardy after 6:45); full 30-minute lunch required; badging in and out required 8.
