- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required; BMT experience not needed 2. Cases: ICU-Oncology; patient diagnoses include BMT/ONC/Medical overflow/Surgical; no chemotherapy administration by agency RNs; chest tube management required; nurses draw own phlebotomy 3. Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required; BSN preferred; must pass Relias EKG exam prior to start 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week; guaranteed 36 hours; every other weekend required; no on-call required; no block schedule; float within oncology floors, oncology service line, ICUs, with potential to float anywhere 8. RTO: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; 75-mile radius rule 11. Background: Not specified 12. Pre-Start Modules: Must pass Relias EKG exam; start date 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required; medical and religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Candidate will be screened if missing any required skills; Pyxis in use Critical: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required. Required skills include arterial line management, multi-system organ failure management, IV insulin protocols, central line care, PICC line management, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP, ventilator management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, suctioning, phlebotomy, and surgical wound/wound vac care.
