- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years ICU experience required; prefer 1.5 years MICU; if less than 2 years, Level I experience required; MUST have experience in a 20+ bed ICU 2. Cases: Medical ICU cases; pressor support, ETT, Trachs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, wound care 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; ACLS required by compliance deadline for Barnes-Jewish Hospital 4. License: MO or compact license (submit without license OK for MO); IL license in hand required at submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; no on-call 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; no new RTO after submission 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates within 75-mile radius; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract signing and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: MTP-Level 1 Rapid infuser; CRRT via NxStage competency required Critical: Must pass Relias EKG exam; floating within service line to MS areas; labs within 48-72 hours of signing; compliance deadline 3pm CST Monday before start date.
