- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1st time travelers will be considered 2. Cases: Community Hospital Experience required; skills/experience required include Multi-system Organ Failure, Post Cardiac Surgery (not directly from OR), IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Traumatic Brain injury, and ventilator/respiratory management; preferred experience includes Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, ECMO, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and Sheath Removal 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; BLS must be AHA only 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech preferred; SBAR communication required 7. Shifts/Call: On call, weekends, and float required; patient ratio is 2:1 days, nights, and weekends; 3 weekend shifts per contract; 12 orientation hours 8.
