- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital); 4 years listed in job requirements; Trauma Level I experience required; first timers NOT accepted (will consider with 2 years at a Level I Academic Medical Center); Medical and Transplant ICU experience required 2. Cases: Respiratory failure, acute and chronic kidney failure, liver failure, overdoses, septic shock, transplants (liver, lung, kidney, pancreas), ARDS, toxicities, DKA, traumatic brain injury, sepsis 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred 4. License: Pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48hr option; ratios 1:2-3 days and nights; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period (Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday and Saturday night); travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently, including to Bellevue campus; drips required on all floors 8. RTO: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted; must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion; travelers must work 2/3 major holidays — submit holiday request with application 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals NOT accepted; candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12.
