- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: CABG, Valve post-op, Impella, IABP, CRRT, Open Heart experience required; cardiac surgeries, open heart, lungs/thoracotomy, TR bands/stents noted on unit 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS through AHA required; NIHSS and TNCC noted; must pass online EKG tele competency assessment before starting assignment; must be able to read and interpret strips 4. License: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License required; current Nursys report must be included with submittal email 5. Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or BSN required 6. EMR: Epic experience required; charting system experience listed as required 7. Shifts/Call: Winter contract options of 13 or 18 weeks; must work minimum every other holiday; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed; traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion; may float in/out of specialty clusters including high-risk respiratory unit; if assigned to MVH, floating may include main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville, less than 10 miles), and north campus (Englewood, less than 15 miles); Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census; Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine; self-scheduling type; 48 orientation hours 8.
