- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; at least 1 year explicitly noted as required for submission 2. Cases: Cardiac/neuro experience, trauma experience, general surgery experience required; patient diagnoses include trauma, CV surgery, general surgery, and neuro 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: Compact license must be in hand at submission; facility does not accept Nursys hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule expected; float required between ICU, Tele, or MS; may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); all RTO must be requested upfront at submission; inflexibility may lead to termination and system DNR 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose any previous work at a Providence facility including location and dates 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm; can only submit to 1 Providence facility at a time 11. Background: Facility does not accept background hits or DUIs; must be disclosed prior to submission 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; recorded in Workramp transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Required; seasoned traveler required 14. Scrubs: Licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) must wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire; print tops are not acceptable 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: ECMO, Impella, IABP, CRRT Critical: 2 references required covering 1 year (within the last 3 years); must be obtained during compliance process and prior to start; charge RNs/leads may be included as references.
