- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; Trauma/Surgical experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience required; PA Lines experience required 2. Cases: Traumatic injuries including MVCs, penetrating wounds, falls; perforated bowels, necrotizing fasciitis, cancer surgery, liver transplants 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; TNCC and CCRN preferred; skills required include arterial line management, care of ventilated patient, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Surgical ICU, and ventilator management 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: Self-scheduling; patient ratio 2:1 days, nights, and weekends; float to ICU and PCU; orientation is 36 hours 8. RTO: Expected to work 3 of 5 winter holidays 9.
