- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years ICU experience required 2. Cases: Respiratory Failure, COPD Exacerbation, AKI, S/P TPA administration, CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required 4. License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required, must be in hand prior to start; SC license prioritized 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s or 4x12s Days 7a-7p; every other weekend; no call required; self-scheduling every 6 weeks 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; no additional PTO approved after accepting assignment; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals considered case-by-case at 10% less posted bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Average 4 hours, non-billable, included in NBO hours, completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted with 2 years ICU experience 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: CRRT experience required; CRRT Prismax, Alaris IV pumps, Mindray bedside monitors, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Critical: CRRT experience required. All labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing. Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible June-November. Patient ratios 1:2-1:3. Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Contract cancellation possible after 2 unexcused call outs.
