- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required per job description; however, submittal requirements state a minimum of 2 years unless otherwise stated in the job description. At least one year of med/surg tele experience required. First-time travelers accepted. 2. Cases: Neuro ICU focus — Post TPA, post surgical, stroke. Skills include arterial line management, EVD, ICP monitoring, traumatic brain injury, CVA/acute stroke management, ventilator management, and titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips, among others. 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must be in hand at time of submission (copies not required). 4. License: TN or compact license required; must be active at time of submission. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Epic experience required within the last 12 months; must be clearly documented on candidate profile including where Epic was utilized. Candidates must pass Epic competency exam — only one attempt allowed; failure results in cancellation. This is listed as a hard stop. 7. Shifts/Call: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; must be willing to work Memorial Day. Patient ratios are 2:1 days, nights, and weekends. Must float to other ICUs, Med Surg/Tele, and progressive care units with no exceptions. No block scheduling or special schedule requests accommodated. 8. RTO: All RTO must be disclosed at time of submission. Additional RTO will not be approved or considered after submission. Only one pre-approved RTO noted. 9. Returning Staff: Must indicate if candidate is a return traveler so staffing approval can be confirmed. 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers. 11. Background: Any known background hits must be disclosed at submission for Account Manager review. 12. Modules: Orientation is 36 hours. No additional module details specified. 13.
