- Unit Notes:OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Med Surg ICU - # beds: 6 beds private rooms - Certs: BLS, ACLS, IL RN licenses - Ratios: 1RN : 2patients ADC:6 - EMR: EPIC - Charge Nurse: Charge RN 50% of time - Nurse Aides: No - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend currently. Moving to every 3rd weekend July 24th - Call Requirement: No - Holidays: If it falls on their weekend - Scrub Color: No specific color scrubs - Tele: Telemetry is managed by a telemetry tech on the unit. We manage vasopressors, paralytics, BiCarb, Insulin - Vents: Vents, BiPAP, CPAP, HF - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist in house 12 hr, e-ICU hospitalist 7p-7a. All rooms cameraed and wired for sound to eICU - IV Team: No - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: 24/7 coverage either onsite or epharmacist with a pharmacist on-call to mix meds - Shifts: 12 hrs 7p-7:30a - Floating: Float to intermediate care if needed nurse patien ration 1:4 or 5 - Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: CAP, Sepsis, Post surgical bowel resection, CEA, hernia, COPD, DKA - Additional Notes: EKG interpretation, General ICU background experience with titration of vasopressor, vent care, insulin drips Notes entered: 8.1.25 Cancellation Policy:12 hours per 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level:2 Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:12hr Nights Required Certifications:ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
