Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required 2. Cases: ICU/CCU nights; possible float to DOU, Tele or Med Tele 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB or VIP, NIHSS required; CCRN preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid CA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Allscripts experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; must be willing to work holidays 8. RTO: Must be on submittal; no RTO first two weeks; maximum 3 days RTO; cannot be changed once submitted except to cancel 9. Returning Staff: Case by case basis; will need facility review 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Any background or license hit during compliance process results in automatic cancellation 12. Modules: 8 hours clinical, 2 hours non-clinical; billable; required pre-start; recorded via transcripts; excess time non-billable 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed 16. Special Equipment: Extensive list including FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, Arctic Sun, Level 1/Rapid Infuser Critical: Patient ratio experience of 2 required. Advanced EKG exam required with 2 attempts allowed, must score 80%. Onsite exam is 20 questions (17 rhythm strips, 3 general) with 45-minute time limit and only 1 attempt - failure results in cancellation. References required.
