- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Neuro and Trauma experience required; MS/Tele or PCU work history required; ICU/PCU experience preferred but strong MS/Tele candidates considered 2. Cases: Critically ill patients; Neuro and Trauma required; must be able to take all types of critically ill patients; CVA/Acute Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Neurosurgery, Spinal Cord Injury, Hypothermia Protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP Monitoring 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; must be active and in hand 4. License: Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid participating compact license required; can submit with pending 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days, 7A-7P; no on-call required; every other weekend required; 36 guaranteed hours/week; facility may call off up to 6 times during 13-week assignment 8. Skills required include arterial line management, ventilator management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, central line care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and more.
