Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 2:1 patient ratio experience required; Trauma Level I and II experience preferred 2. Cases: Surgical and trauma adult critical care patients; post-operative emergency or complex surgical procedures; multisystem traumatic injuries 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; TNCC required; copies must be included with submission 4. License: VA license accepted pending but must be in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours available; nights; every other weekend and holiday; block scheduling cannot be accommodated 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; Memorial Day weekend cannot be approved; no additional requests after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; requires one-year separation and leadership approval; cannot return after 365 days total assignment time 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile restriction; this unit not listed as restricted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed during orientation; recorded in Workday; vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
