- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required; strong Neuro Critical Care background specifically (not just general ICU) 2. Cases: Comprehensive Stroke Center; strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic [SAH]), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling/clipping, seizures, depth electrodes, myasthenia gravis; EVDs, LDs, hemovacs, Camino (ICP monitoring) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, and NIHSS required; must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15; 36 hours offered; every other weekend required; no call requirement; float required; ratios 2:1 (can flex up to 3:1); contracts accepted 13+ weeks up to February 27, 2027 (hard stop) 8. RTO: RTO after booking is NOT allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; any call-offs or additional RTO could result in Cancel and DNR; no pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies; unit will NOT accept first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Pre-start Modules: Orientation is 24 hours (2 days or 2 nights) 13.
