- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum experience in specialty, must be within the last 12 months 2. Cases: Neuro ICU background required; neurologically compromised, stroke, SAH, tumor, seizure patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must be in hand at submission; cannot expire within 30 days of start date 4. License: Active NJ or Compact License required; Nursys within 2 weeks of submittal date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: EOW/EOH; patient ratios nights 2:1; float between ICU and PCU 8. RTO: Due at time of submission; not accepted after submission; no RTO within first week of start date; 4 days or less RTO prioritized 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals accepted at $5 less rate; first time traveler accepted but not preferred 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing; must pass on PC (not iOS); 2 attempts only; failure results in cancellation; modules are billable 13.
