- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1+ year recent ICU experience required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: COPD, Encephalopathy, Drug Overdose, DKA, AKI, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, HF, A-fib, ARDS, Sepsis, Pneumonia, acute GI Bleed, Strokes, Traumas, multi-organ dysfunction; procedures include CRRT, HD, A-Line placement, CVC Placement, Trach placement, Chest tube placement, intubation, bronchoscopy 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS required 4. License: MI license required; pending MI license accepted with concrete ETA and proof of application at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; float required to other ICU and Med-Surg units as census flexes; Med-Surg ratios approximately 1:5-7; ICU ratios vary by acuity (1:1 to 1:4); Vent patients 2:1; Cooling/CRRT/High Acuity 1:1; scheduling type is self-schedule 8. RTO: No RTO in first two weeks of assignment; all RTO must be presented prior to offer; any RTO received after offer must be discussed with on-site manager; holidays are required; only one holiday will be approved (per offer length up to 26 weeks) 9.
