Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; will consider acute Oncology/Hematology experience 2. Cases: Adult hematology patient population - benign hematology only; classical hematology (bleeding disorders/hemophilia/anemias/sickle cell/DVTs) 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ONS, BMTCN, OCN preferred; phlebotomy skills are a MUST 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 hours (Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p); no call, float, or weekend requirements 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (50 miles) accepted at lower rate; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not provided; navy blue required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
