Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Pediatric ED

Shift: Variable, D/E/N rotating shift schedules, 12×3, 3 6hrs per week Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per unit needs

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• NY RN License
• 2 years of Peds ER experience required
• Burn care experience highly desirable (preferred)
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• PALS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required
• TNCC preferred
• ATCN preferred
• ABLS preferred

Other Details:

• Family centered care to patients under the age of 19, seeking care for urgent and emergent issues at a Level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center
• Unit comprised of 18 general care beds, 1 critical care bed, 4 urgent care beds, and use of the 7 bed trauma bay shared with the adult ED
• Complex case mix at a tertiary care children’s hospital, ranging from treat and release to acute critical care/trauma
• Staff trained to function in a fast paced and challenging environment
