Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must be working under the highest level of professional license and have 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting; trauma experience required 2. Cases: Emergency Department patients, all age groups, comprehensive emergency medical services; critical/trauma patients; Level III Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center 3. Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS (or Red Cross), TNCC, SECURE (obtained on site) 4. License: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted); Nursys required 5. Education: Associate degree in nursing required 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals; 36 or 48 hours per week accepted; holidays as required; every other weekend 8. RTO: Not specified 9.
