Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required per job requirements; additional note states 1 year required 2. Cases: CVA/stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI, cardiac dysrhythmias, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma, drug overdose, acute psychosis, suicidal patients, traumatic brain injury, triage, pediatric spinal cord injury, STEMI, emergency diagnoses (adult/pediatric) 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; PALS and TNCC noted with asterisk; must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: Active New York Single State RN license required in hand to submit; NY is not Compact; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Foreign education must be flagged to account manager at time of submittal for verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 7a-7p, 13-week contract; every other weekend required; every other holiday if needed; client may cancel up to 3 shifts per contract without charge; float within skillset required 8. RTO: Must submit requests upon submission; cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days of RTO; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: 1-year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted for RNs; locals accepted for LPNs only 11. Background: Reviewed on a case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours; any time exceeding 5 hours is non-billable; completed pre-start; vary by specialty; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any combination of navy blue and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment Critical: NY license must be in hand at time of submission. Flag any foreign education to account manager at submittal. RTO must be submitted at time of submission and cannot exceed 10 days.
