- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years required; 1 year travel experience required IF recent Epic experience for first-timers 2. Cases: Trauma, acute stroke, STEMI, psychosis/psychological emergencies, sepsis; procedures include moderate & deep sedation, US, intubation, cardioversion, D&Cs, sexual assault exams, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, imminent deliveries 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred; must be traditional AHA (does not accept RQI); copies required 4. License: Valid state license preferred at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required (HARDSTOP) 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights 1700-0530 and 1900-0730; weekend coverage required; no call required; floating within hospital required 8. RTO: Must have upfront, no more than 2 weeks; 1 week max 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 6+ months 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rates 11. Background: Will not accept any background or license hits; uses Advanced Reporting system for comprehensive lifetime background review 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN average 4.5 hours; completed pre-start; recorded via transcripts; Relias exams require 85% or higher score 13. Travel Experience: Yes, 1 year required for first-timers 14. Scrubs: No prints; scrubs provided for OR 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified beyond standard ED equipment Critical: Epic experience is a hard requirement.
