- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (must have 2 years experience in large, urban hospital) 2. Cases: Medical surgical and telemetry patients including orthopedic, pulmonary, sepsis, GI, endocrine, cardiac, renal, and psychiatric illnesses; post-cardiac cath patients; patients with behavioral health conditions 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CPI preferred 4. License: Nebraska RN License (pending license accepted but if not in hand at submission, traveler booked six weeks out) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 1:5 days/1:6 nights (rarely 1:7 nights); 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in 4-week period; must float frequently within scope to meet facility needs 8. RTO: Up to two weeks permitted; must be submitted with application; no RTO during first week of orientation; RTO Blackout Dates 6/11/26 - 6/22/26 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
