- Unit Notes:(Notes Updated 6/30/25) * Charge experience preferred * Float across ED and inpatient units as needed ER RN Nights Start 7/21 13 weeks ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC required. 1 opening 2 years experience Shift Notes: 3-12s, Nights, EOW, float across ED and inpatient units as needed 36 hours $95 OLD NOTES: Unit: ER - # beds: 2 trauma rooms, 11 exam - 4 of which are fast track Certs: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, PALS or ENPC. 3 years experience. Level 3 or higher trauma expeience. Triage experiece ESI level 5. Ratios: 1:4 EMR: CareView Charge Nurse: RSC (RN shift coordinator) - will take 1 patient Nurse Aides: 1 aide 24/7, 2p- 2a a second aide is added. Weekend Requirement: Every 2 or 3 weeks Holidays: Work into staff rotation. Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided Tele: Must be able to read and interpret strips. Vents: Yes, before transport to ICU Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: 1 ER physician 24/7, PA staffed at 2pm. Hospitalist: until 5pm. IV Team: No RT 24/7: Yes Pharmacy 24/7: Open 6a-10pm. Contract though Carnival to do after hours orders. Oncall Pharmacist will mix meds if needed. Shifts: 6-6, 6, 9, 11, 1pm, 3pm, 6pm (mid to nights biggest need) Floating: Normally no. Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Standard ER patient population. Possibly prison patients, psych patients, deliver babies in ER and transfer, psych holds (Average of 1 and usually only hold for 24hrs or less).
