- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years required 2. Cases: General Emergency Department - Combined Adult/Pedi; wide range including trauma, behavioral health, neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and pediatric emergencies; Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS - AHA ONLY; TNCC required; copies required at submission 4. License: WI RN or Compact RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Evening/Nights; 12 and 8-hour shifts as needed; primary shifts 1100-2330 or 1500-0330; weekend and holiday rotation based on operational need; float to UW University as needed 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50 miles from facility; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Pre-Start Modules: Telemetry exam required prior to start; two attempts allowed; must pass with 80% or higher; Adult Exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms and no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart block questions; Pediatric Exam requires identification of ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia; if failed twice, must submit cardiac interpretation review course certificate before third attempt; assignment cancelled after three failed attempts 13.
