Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in ER setting 2. Cases: No trauma level one experience necessary 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS required; ENPC (PALS can meet this requirement); CPI completed online after onboarding 4. License: KY or compact license required at submission; no licensure hits accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 4-5 weekend shifts per 6 weeks; patient ratios 4:1 all shifts 8. RTO: Must be presented at submission; longer than 1 week not approved unless special circumstances; any time off sent after offer will not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 6 months to return as traveler; must disclose previous work at facility for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted within 100 miles; first time travelers only accepted with level 1 ER experience 11. Background: Will not accept any licensure hits; submission rejected if license hits present 12. Modules: 6.5 hours average, billable, not included in NBO hours; completed during orientation and annually 13. Travel Experience: Preferred but not necessary; first time travelers need level 1 ER experience 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
