Cases: All age ranges (infant to geriatric); diagnoses vary across all systems including complex diagnoses in a fast-paced ED setting; skills include abdominal pain, acute psychosis, asthma, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, chest tube insertion/management, continuous IV paralytics, continuous IV sedation, CVA, drug overdose, emergency medications, general emergency department (combined adult/pedi), hyperglycemia, identify/report neglect or abuse, infection, interpretation of ABGs, interpretation of dysrhythmias, intubation, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, manage/apply splints, management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, managing violent behavior, mental/behavioral health conditions, 12-lead EKG/ECG, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, psychiatric hold, respiratory infection, seizures, sickle cell crisis, starting and maintaining IVs, STEMI certified facility, stroke certified facility, suicidal patient, triage, urinary tract infection 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required (CPI completed during onboarding); NRP and TNCC preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: RN MD state license required 5.
