- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: STEMI and Stroke facility experience required; special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health; hospital specialties include cath lab, women's health, and stroke care 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS/NIH, PALS, STARR/Behavioral population required; all must be in hand at submission 4. License: State license in hand required at time of submission 5. Education: Education verification through a third-party required; facility will not accept education from schools on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights, 7p-7a (occasionally 3p-3a if needed); up to every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed; no call; patient ratio 4:1 days, nights, and weekends; self-scheduling; 36 orientation hours 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; time off must not prevent completion of pre-start compliance 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; no locals accepted; current driver's license must be included in submission to confirm address; all travelers subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed 11. Background: Facility will not accept any open cases on the background check 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 2-4 hours; completed during orientation, not included in NBO; hours vary by unit 13.
