- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years experience as a nurse required, with at least 1 year in an ER setting; 2 years experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high volume (100,000+ visit) ED; Previous HCA experience preferred 2. Cases: Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience required; high volume ED experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS required before start date; ENPC required within 90 days of hire; all must be in hand prior to start 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no block scheduling; scheduling must meet department needs; must be open to floating to all sections within the ED; no floating outside of the ED 8.
