- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures including Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Pacemaker Insertion, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Conduction Studies, Sheath Removal and Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems, Topical Hemostasis, and Scrub Procedures; must be able to scrub and/or use Micropace monitoring system for ablations; RNs must have mandatory competency with phlebotomy and placing IVs 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: No weekends, holidays, or call required; on-call not required; block schedule will be attempted but not guaranteed; patient ratio days is 1:5; orientation is 40 hours 8.
