Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; minimum 1 year direct experience for submission 2. Cases: Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), ERCP, Esophageal varices and banding procedures 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; must be through AHA 4. License: Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse required; emergency and pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for Northwestern Memorial Hospital; ASN or BSN accepted at other facilities in health system 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: One on call shift per week; may fall on weekend; 1 weekend call shift per month; block scheduling; patient ratio 5:1 days 8. RTO: All time off must be included at submission; cannot be added after submittal; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Northwestern Medicine and any acquired facilities must be included in employment history if applicable 10. Travel/Local: May be subject to floating between facilities within health system if requested 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Completed during orientation; first 8 hours non-billable; additional hours billed at 70% of regular rate; must be completed during scheduled shift unless manager approval received 13.
