- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCPs, EUS procedures 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start; SC license prioritized 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 0630-3p shift; on-call required; every third weekend required; must stay within 30 minutes of facility for call response 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers; 7+ days or holidays require facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff (including PRN) must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted case-by-case at 10% less posted bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Average 4 hours, non-billable, included in NBO hours, completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Olympus scopes, Olympus towers, Gastro imaging software Critical: Patient ratios 1:1 in procedure suite, 4:1 in preop/discharge. Must complete labs within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of start. Hurricane season emergency response assignment possible June-November.
